I am realizing from session attendees, and those who have implemented my program that the information I share is simple with immediate results. There is the feeling of success from the moment we look at the environment (classroom; family) differently and my program techniques “save time” because they are void of problem solving (which takes forever and is often frustrating); lectures; rule review. Exploring my website will provide useful information on how to continue the path to peace.

I am more than encouraged to “keep them coming,” especially regarding the epidemic of bullying. I saw the movie BULLY and realize again the hopelessness of this issue. There are no answers to the actions of the so-called bullies anywhere throughout the movie. It has no reasons for a child to act as bully (I will disclose many); there are no answers from teachers or school administration because, in how they are trained to deal with this issue, there are no answers; nothing has led to solutions. (again, I will reveal many) Parents are at a complete loss, hoping that school staff will do something to help their child, and find that asking for help leads nowhere. The message from the movie that bullying can cause suicide requires great thought and indepth investigation into what bullying really is. To leave viewers stranded with no answers regarding “the twisted world” of bullying, will lead to even more chaos and confusion. Follow my blog as we piece solutions together and realize the end to “bullying.”

You are so right. A genuine caring smile from an adult to a child who is smiling through pain is powerful. It is this simple, yet often forgotten gesture to a child that will calm him and help him to succeed.

We do not often think past experience affects who we are presently and therefore often misread behavior of children and adults, and also misread our own actions. Even a smile can be mis-leading. Instead of the common understanding of a smile – HAPPY always – many smile while recalling unpleasant memories, pretending they were trivial, even funny. I have talked directly to, and seen documentaries of, victims of abuse and they explain their stories with a smile. They are ashamed, yet look happy to protect against present pain.

The information, such as you see in my NEWS, is always received with great enthusiasm and hope. Many attendees in my sessions and readers of my book retrieve answers/solutions to such issues as bullying, both child and adult, when we investigate the multiple reasons for negative behavior and relationships. “Lightbulb” moments coming from facts about the direct connection between environment, behavior and the brain, allow instant growth in the home, school and/or office.
